On foot
From Cabo Downtown Studios, the marina is 2 blocks, Medano Beach 10 minutes and the nightlife strip in between. Downtown is flat, safe and walkable — it is the whole point of staying here.
Taxis, Uber & water taxis
Uber works well in Cabo San Lucas and is usually cheaper than street taxis — confirm pickup points at busy spots. Water taxis from the marina reach Lover’s Beach and Pelican Rock in minutes and double as mini El Arco tours.
When to rent a car
Only for day trips: Todos Santos, Cabo Pulmo or the East Cape. For everything else, save the rental fees for a sunset cruise instead.
